MEET: The Dun Cow, Ollerton, Nr Knutsford WA16 8RH. Toilets available, order your meal beforehand. The Dun Cow has quite a history, being used as a court-house for petty sessions and with prisoners kept in their cellars and many of the original features survive. Recently completely restored and renovated, they offer an excellent selection of beers (John Lees & Co) and delicious home made food and log fires.
WALK: 5.5 Miles along rural and country lanes, Toft Woods, through the Booths Hall estate, farms and farm land, Spring wood and Marthall Brook. Stiles – at least 14. Fields and muddy situations. Animals? Unlikely but who knows. Moderate.
DISTANCE: from Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington 12 miles, 25 mins, A50. Alternative is taking the M6 to Junction 19, follow signs for Holmes Chapel and Chelford. Pub on bend left hand side. Car park behind the pub – please park at the rear of the car park.

|MEET : The Bulls Head, 465 London Road, Davenham, Northwich, CW9 8NA. www.thebullsheaddavenham.co.uk, Tel: 01606 43725, which will open at 10.15am ready for a PROMPT start at 10.30am.
FOOD: We have a reservation at the pub for 1.30pm but we need to order food before we start the walk. Excellent menu and quality food.
ROUTE: A circular walk from The Bulls Head Davenham near Northwich, Cheshire. The walking route has plenty of interest for everyone including a café on route which might be open for ice cream.
HOW TO GET THERE: Davenham is about 2 miles south of Northwich on London Road just over the A556.
From the North, take the A556 and head towards Chester. Take a left turn at the next roundabout after Roberts Bakery on your left which is signposted Davenham. The Bulls Head on your left in the village about 400 yards from the roundabout. Drive into the car park under the arch (old coach entrance) and park at the back of the car park please.
There is plenty of parking at the pub.
